Documents needed for these meetings are generally posted on the Synod website ahead of the meeting. Council members are notified via individual e-mail the schedule for these postings and what the password will be. Others may contact the Synod Office for information.
The Synod Council will serve as the Board of Trustees for the corporation, and will have the power to act in the name of the Synod between meetings of the Synod Assembly reporting such actions to the succeeding Synod Assembly. The Council has the authority to create committee and task forces to assist in carrying out its responsibilities. The Council has primary responsibility for Trustees Interim Authority Financial Oversight Budget Development Personnel Property.
